Jan Durston Katerynych was born and raised in Regina and had accumulated various professional experiences and educational credentials before launching her own law practice.
In her early career, Jan spent several years in the customer service and human resource areas of Saskatchewan's public service, and during that time she developed a special expertise and interest in providing excellent customer service.
Since graduating from law school in 2001, Jan has practiced family law in Northern Alberta, served as Executive Director of a non-profit immigration organization in Saskatoon and was an Executive Manager of a large privately owned corporation. She is a Hearing Officer for the Office of Residential Tenancies and has taught both Family Law and Business Law at the University of Regina.
Jan's private law practice is focussed in Family Law and she is recognized by the Saskatchewan Court of Queen's Bench as a Family Arbitrator and Parenting Coordinator.
